Due to the new bylaw put forth by the City of Edmonton on July 29, 2020 to be effective August 1, 2020, Air Extreme is mandating the use of masks by all visitors and students to our facility.
Air Extreme is taking the appropriate precautions to protect our students and visitors from COVID-19. We are following the recommendations of Alberta Health Services and our training providers. Our priority is to protect the health and safety of our employees and students while supporting our industry.
We are practicing social distancing in our classrooms and will not allow employees or students to remain if ill.
We are taking extra precautions and are maintaining elevated levels of cleanliness.
We have limited the number of courses we are offering and have reduced the number of students in each course.
We ask that any student or visitor who has traveled outside of Canada, has had possible exposure to anyone with COVID-19, or are ill to reschedule their visit in order to protect the public and our staff. Cancellation fees are waived during this time.
We request that students wash/sanitize their hands frequently during the day and can provide disposable gloves if requested.
Our classrooms and training areas have been set up to maintain a 6 foot distance between students. Students are required to wear a mask and we ask that they bring their own masks, as we have a limited supply. A screening process including a non contact temperature reading will be completed upon arrival.
We have reduced our maximum class size by 50%, thus allowing each person to maintain a safe distance from each other.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
