Air Extreme will be following the City of Edmonton mask bylaw that goes into effect on Friday, September 3, 2021. If you are entering our facility - WEAR A MASK.
COVID-19 Update

Air Extreme is going ahead and bringing back full class sizes effective immediately. Our five large classrooms can fit a maximum of twenty students, and our two small classrooms can fit a maximum of eight students. We will continue with our COVID cleaning protocols, and still recommend wearing masks.

Air Extreme is taking the recommendations from Alberta OH&S – they are as follows: As Alberta enters Stage 3 of reopening and COVID-19 restrictions are reduced, people are returning to the workplace. With changing pandemic-specific conditions, the hazard assessment must be reviewed and updated. Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) legislation requires employers to protect the health and safety of workers at the work site and others at or around the work site. Gas Monitors/Detectors and Hand Sanitizer

We just wanted to let everyone know that Gas Monitors/Detectors and Hand Sanitizer do not mix well. The action of the alcohol evaporating wreaks havoc with the CO sensor on the monitor. We suggest that after sanitizing your hands, put a pair of disposable gloves on prior to handling the gas monitor. This will mitigate any issues. If you have forgotten about this tip and have the CO sensor alarming, just turn off the monitor, leave it for an hour, turn it back on and it should operate just fine.
